There is life on mars – iOS Musicians release charity album

Within less than 48 hours the leading iOS musicians managed to release two charity albums in favour of the website

Almost unnoticed by the general public, in the last few years a scene of musicians emerged, who use iOS devices (iPads and iPods) as their musical platform. The great thing about this scene is its variety. Here, the veteran of seventies rock meets the raver of the eighties, the nineties grunge-rocker meets the electronica artist of the new millenium.

One of the main resources of the scene is Ryan Hemeon from Canada reports about apps here and publishes tutorial videos. In recent days, the site has gotten in trouble and its existence is threatened. To save iosmars, the best ios Musicians rallied together and donated two albums of music, called „Life On Mars Vol.1 & Vol. 2“. These albums give a great overview of where the iOS scene is at. They are full of music from all kinds of genres, from prog-rock to metal, from ambient to drum’n’bass.

These albums can be listened to and purchased here:

The tune „November Dream“- crumblegg is part of this.
