Turn on, Tune in, Drop out!“ Timothy Leary

That was the slogan of the summer of love in 1967. People had enough of the Post – Traumatic times after Word War II. They opposed the lifestyle in western countries. They opposed the War in Vietnam, protested against the regime in Iran, they challenged the establishment and they used LSD among other drugs to alter their state of mind. Some said it would give them a broader look on life and nature.

This is a documentary about the swiss scientist who discovered LSD and about it’s impact on society. A precursor of MDMA – the drug that fueled the 1989 summer of love in Europe, the acid house movement.
