03/2015 Playlist

March was full of surprises. Kendrick Lamar dropped his critically acclaimed and long time awaited album. I should write about that album in another post after more studying of the lyrical content, probably…

Personally I have been on a quest to digg into Grime, Bassmusic and House. I discovered JME from London with his unique flow and he became one of my favorites this month. Concrete Records from the UK is still pouring out tracks like a waterfall. Ausland released the new Duke Slammer. Ethan Glass will release on the 31st of March on Saturate Records and they already gave away one track (Molten Chore) for free in advance. Very enjoyable tune.

Edit: The album is a fantastic release:

Bastelkopp has been busy releasing two tracks in March and MaHo is also still busy. I heard that his next proper album / EP is almost ready to be released.

Bios the label CEO from Saturate released a tune called Acid Bass in March that I am enjoying in that playlist.

Regarding House there have been some very enjoyable tunes that crossed my path. ESS, Prizma, BS1, Hi 2Hat and then it hit me, Helena Hauff.  So there is a lot to discover for you from March 2015.

In March I also started to take more pictures of street art here as spring really made the city blossom in art at parts after the long winter. Check that out on https://instagram.com/crumblegg/

Not to forget: Judith Hill produced by Prince given away for free.

I hope that you’ll enjoy the selections.
